Alright the day started with sectionals at 10am!!! Saw may and alastair outside the band room when i arrived. Hahas...the others then started to come...
Sectionals sectionals sectionals...flute section moved out of the band room to practise after xinyun said that the saxophones were too loud and she couldn't really hear us...i also cannot really hear her...hahhs
Outside the band room was damn fun! Though quite worried about the chromatics and soli for cumbanchero, we were throwing the shoes to the top of the band room - those metals pipes that run at the ceiling there...it all started with linda's shoes i guess? then it went on to gino's shoes and etc....
the whole thing ended up with everyone's shoes up on the metal pipes except for rachel and gabriel i think...ahahhs
After that we went to raffles place to buy ties via mrt...i kept on thinking we are going to orchard, whereby it was just raffles place...And we have got cheryl a new name! we called her "wenrou"..hahahs...which means gentle...sort of opposite i guess...haahhhas..going to city area in half-school uniform looks weird ... hahahs..
Wow this is the first time i have ever seen such cheap ties! The cheapest was at $1...the label on top of the $1 ties says something about obama becoming as president etc..the sale at $1 was for thursday and friday...There were also slim ties and those formal ties...ties for children, etc etc..We managed to find a rainbow tie at first..but there were only 2 such ties while there were 5 of us...ya so we had to find other ties...we decided to eat first then buy ties later...
Went to this place called "bentoplace", which sells japanese food i think...i ordered this thing called chicken curry bowl, including miso soup +pepsi...costs me about $8.60? I don't know why everybody in my section all ordered ice lemon tea except me...weird huh? hahahs
Most people went off after eating at bentoplace..xinyun had to rush home, zhi ning had to meet up with her friends, gino and may went to collect fiesta shirts, and alastair and gabriel i think they went home or somewhere else...ahahs.. leaving jermain, linda, cheryl aka wenrou and me...
May bought 2 small peaches and a packet of raisins or something, she said its for her friend later when she goes for the vj concert..hahahs..looks weird for a gift, hahahs..but its creative and authentic though...haahhs
So we went back to the tie shop after that, linda went to collect ties for her section, theirs was bright pink and white alternating in diagonal stripes. Jermain, cheryl and i were still stuck with the ties. For those ties that we liked there were not enough ties, so we managed to find one black tie with thin pink stripes - since there were at least 5 ties. After that we went on to finding and managed to find black tie with green stripes and another with red stripes...we decided that we shall alternate, since there were not enough black ties with green stripes nor the one with red stripes..and yay we managed to buy our ties! ahahs...
After buying ties i had to rush home and then go for vjc concert. Met gino and may while on bus 31, and g.v. at the bus stop which we alighted. Waited for shan hui and liling and others outside vjc and we then proceeded to the concert after they arrived...
VJ concert was nice! hahahs...liked their skit , got a bit of high school muscial elements here and there but it was nicer than last year's one i guess...i guess for all the performers their efforts were paid off and had fun! I remembered people were playing with the lights that shone on the emcees...funny though..
After vj concert comes tj concert! ahahs...it was quite a fun-filling day overall for today!
