Went for the edusave scholarship prize presentation at around 1pm for today. LOL it really seems true that those who live nearest is always the latest. Hahahs..the community centre is like a stone's throw away from my block can? Wow it seems weird wearing school uniform, somemore with hair that is considered unacceptable under school rules.LOL. Was really really bored and lonely while waiting to be called into the hall. i saw nobody from sec4e5n - 2008 from bedok view at all. Met wai nam and humphery - pri school friends- when about to go into the hall....heng at least got a bit of company.
The prize presentation was really different this year. Instead of sitting on chairs in rows and waiting for our turn to go up the stage. This time there is even food catered for people to eat - can picture john and weijie chionging for them haha- and wait for their turn and chairs are gone. The mp said that they changed to such a way is because every year when they are giving out the last few certificates, most of the parents would have already left with their child le. LOL so the food is there to keep the people there i guess? Sonce there were no chairs, we had to stand - please, i have been standing for long periods these few days. The mp still came down the stage to say hellos to the public, cool. Hahas shook her hand and she congratulated me! =) The announcement of name up the stage was like one person lagging? When they called my name already, a boy in front of me haven't even get his cert yet. So, when they called the name of a girl who was behind me, it seemed as though i was the person the emcee announced. Pls lor, look at who is about to take the cert and then read his or her name can? LC, I feel so insulted.
And yes about my job, awww being at expo hall 4 isn't as good as at foyer 2. There was another shop beside us, so some customers thought we were the same shop despite the relatively HUGE gap between the two shops. Sian lor, i had to look out if any customers took the shop's things and paid at the wrong counter - which i didn't had to in foyer 2. I prefer being in foyer 2.....zhao ying is there, and tommorrow i would still be doing hall 4! @#$%$#@! But never mind, the working hours for hall 4 is longer, which means i have more $$$ and an extra meal, since i working from morning to night. I asked nic ong to come along since there is one vacancy and he is free. So he started from 1030 to 6pm and i came around 430pm - he left before me. I worked till the whole thing ended. Yingying, chenchen and ah sok were actually working at expo burger king! LOL..heard it was some restaurant, yeah its a FASTFOOD restaurant, thought was some classy restaurant all along...LOL..Yingying and chenchen came to visit me, and thanks to both of you! They look rather cool in burger king uniform, got cap somemore. hahahas...guess that was the only happy thing that happened during my job for today...lol
Okay now i am damn tired and i am working whole day tommorrow...shall stop here
